June loved the sound of bells, always associating their gentle peel with her wedding day...Wonderful 1960s large hand painted ceramic Santa head bell, with curled genuine Copper clapper. The jolly old Elf himself has bright blue eyes, rosy red cheeks and snowy white beard and moustache, his mouth open for loud 'Ho Ho Ho'! The top of the bell has nice heavy braided black cord for hanging, extending through the top and suspending the Copper clapper. Santa measures 7" x 5" and is in excellent condition. There are only a couple of tiny scuffs and a few flakes to the red paint on his hat, but no chips, cracks, fading, or crazing to the paint or ceramic. Made during the Ceramic craze of the late '60s, the bell is wonderful enough to be passed down to the next generation of Santa collectors.
