There was always a bread board on the kitchen counter at the Cleaver house, as June knew her boys and their snacking...Vintage 1960's laminated pictorial bread board, with delightful and colorful 'Daily Bread'-style artwork. The board depicts a central hearty loaf of whole grain bread, fresh from the oven and sliced on a pottery plate, surrounded by other types of delicious loaves on a dark wood counter top. A serrated edge knife sits alongside. The delicious looking breads are accented by shafts of wheat both at the top, around and on the plates. The back of the board has light pine finish, and the whole board has been laminated. The original worn label is still affixed to the back of the board, with care instructions and the Pattern No. BRCB. Condition is very good, with light cut marks on both sides of the board. However, the art work is in outstanding condition, and would look wonderful displayed in a Retro or Country kitchen. The board measures 13 1/4" x 8 1/4".
